River City Bangkok is proud to be among the 100+ galleries participating in Galleries’ Nights, an evening saturated with art, inspiration and talent spanning the Bangkok Creative District.
After 2 years of COVID-19 and many health crises, the war in Ukraine, the political uncertainties, the environmental challenges, the future of the planet, what kind of world do we want? Which values do we want to promote? What are our prospects for the future? We all have experimented the fragility of life. Now, what are the challenges ? What has to be invented? Which solutions can be found? We are not expecting the artists to answer, but to think the present, the NOW.

RCB Portrait Prize 2022 Exhibition
Over 200 personal portraits were submitted for the second installment of the RCB Portrait Prize: a shortlist of 80 are on display in our gallery, and present a breath-taking, panoramic view of Bangkok and its people. Visit and admire the winners of the Portrait Prize and Packing Room Prize, and cast a vote for your personal favorite, which is up for an award of 100,000 baht as the People’s Choice Prize. Yesterday I Was, Tomorrow I Will Be
A carefully curated selection of work from the 20-year career of Thai illustrator and animator Pomme Chan fills the gallery space with her signature swirls and linework. In one of her most highly-anticipated solo exhibitions in Bangkok, Pomme’s early sketches can be viewed for the first time, a must-see for any seeking insight into the beginnings of a prolific portfolio and career, and available for purchase for those looking to bring home a token of the discipline, grit and passion that have shaped her success. Open 7th October – 20th November at RCB Galleria 1, 2nd floor.
BRUTAL CLUB by Karms
Karms (Thammatat Saithong) is a young talent that is already making waves in the Thai arts scene, with a growing fanbase enamored by his fusion of fine art techniques with a flair for the monstrous and subversive. Inspired by the daily life around him and the complex behavior of human beings, he invents strange and unsettling cartoon characters that reflect the curiosities, obsessions and proclivities of our species, rendered in color, light and shadow. BRUTAL CLUB by Karms is open 15th October – 20th November, RCB Galleria 4, 2nd floor. Free entry.
Natura Magnifica
Last but not least, we unveil our end of year special, “Natura Magnifica”, an auction event organized by premier Thai leading auction house, The Art Auction Center (TAAC). Auction preview and bidding registration starts 2nd – 12th November 2022, 11.00 AM – 7.00 PM, at RCB, RCB Artery Floor 1 and RCB Galleria 2-3 Floor 2. The event will take place on 12th November 2022 at RCB Auctions Room Floor 4. Doors open 1.00 AM – 1.00 PM, and the bidding begins 2.00 PM onwards.
