LEONARDO OPERA OMNIA
In recognition of the 500th anniversary of Leonardo Da Vinci’s passing, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Italian broadcaster, Rai Com are touring globally LEONARDO OPERA OMNIA, an exhibition that showcases the paintings of the widely celebrated Italian artist, Leonardo Da Vinci. In Thailand, the exhibition was mounted at River City Bangkok with the support of the Italian Embassy Bangkok.
The exhibition consists of 17 of da Vinci’s most famous artworks, reproduced in digital format and in the exact dimensions of the original artworks. They include: “Mona Lisa”, “L’Annunciazione” and the rarely seen “The Last Supper”, the art piece found in the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, Milano.
Thanks to the use of sophisticated digital techniques, the visitors are able to examine and enjoy the great master’s most famous works of art like never before. The backlighting system adjusts the light intensity and the colour temperature, the first time these works have been presented with these enhancements, providing a truly unique experience.
The exhibition is the collaboration of a number of highly regarded professional photographers whose skill in reproducing the artwork in high resolution is clearly evident.
