Oneirism
Antonio Saba hunts for beauty in architectures and landscapes, animals and human beings. His artistic proposal builds a personal aesthetic idea in which hedonism and idealism are decisive components. Just like a director working in a film set he works on the sublimation of reality, forging with meticulous patience the illusions that project the ordinary into a more qualified dimension.
Saba’s imagination introduces unnatural and mysterious features into places, creating remarkable fragments of reality which leave a memorable impression on the viewer. His photographs represent unforgettable visions that do not melt immediately out of mind but remain within: they absorb your attention as you gaze into them, seeking what goes behind and beyond reality. For this reason, Saba’s works are essentially “Portraits of Dreams.”
