Puppet Slam in BKK 2024

RCB Experimental Art Lab, in collaboration with Puppet Siam group, proudly presents Puppet Slam in BKK 2024 which is set to make its debut in Thailand! Organized by the Puppet Siam group, this festival brings together contemporary puppet artists in Thailand, including Puppets by Jae, Ta Lent Show, Act it House, and For WhaT Theatre.

Puppet Slam originated in the early days of 1978 in the US, Bread & Puppet volunteers hosted a party called Spaghetti dinners, which came from the fact that they shared bread while working for Bread & Puppet. During that time, they also performed a short puppet show at The Ninth Street Theater, which later led the group to form Great Small Theatre, which has continued to host Spaghetti dinners to this day.
