What is the definition of a “perfect family”?
Is it a family that is rich, educated, or a family that has both father and mother as society has defined?
RCB Film Club celebrates Pride Month with an Australian feature documentary titled ‘Gayby Baby,’ which has won multiple awards throughout the world, including the SXSW Film Festival in 2016. The film follows the families of Ebony, Gus, Graham, and Matt, who are 11-year-old girls and boys who have same-sex parents and are viewed as ‘unusual’ by society since their families do not meet social standards.
While many people nowadays are debating whether a family should consist of a straight guy and a woman? Can same-sex couples be good parents? This is the first time we will hear youngsters living amongst such encounters speak their thoughts in their own voices.
Let’s discover the definition of the word “family” together through the stories of these children.
