RCB Portrait Prize 2022 Exhibition

The People’s Choice Prize, as the name suggests, is to be decided by the viewing public who visit the Portrait Prize exhibition, with each visitor casting one vote. At the close of the exhibition on Sunday 13 November, the winner of the People’s Choice Prize will be announced.

This is the second year of the national portraiture competition. From 200 entries coming from every corner of the Kingdom, painted by an amazingly wide array of artists, 80 were chosen to be finalists. From these 80, the jury selected the painting titled “Relationship” by Thai artist Theerapong Kamolpus as the RCB Portrait Prize 2022 winner, with the artist receiving THB500,000. The Portrait Prize’s THB200,000 Packing Room Prize was won for “Time and Care” by Ronachart Mahakphichian.
