Reflect

The seniors of the printmaking department at Pohchang Academy of Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, present “Reflect”, an exhibition of their art thesis projects. The beauty, versatility and distinctive character of this rarefied art form shines through their work, the product of a detailed and technical process that demands of the artist rigor and skill in order to bring their vision to fruition. For example, the mirror image of the composition has to be engraved on the printmaking matrix– the image flipped right to left, as if it were a reflection– for the final product to deliver the desired design. The pieces on display reflect the unique worldview and life experiences of each artist in the class of 20, and will have you spellbound and inspired by the insights layered therein.
