UOB Painting of the Year is one of the most prestigious annual art awards and aims to support Thailand’s art scene. The 12th UOB Painting of the Year Exhibition will be held at River City Bangkok.
The exhibition showcases award-winning artworks from the competition. One of the highlight pieces that you shouldn’t miss is “Land of Happiness” by Mr Vachira Kornthong which is a mixed media on canvas filling with intriguing stories. In addition, the panel of judges have selected artworks to be displayed at the exhibition to give an opportunity to artists, professional and amateur, who entered the competition to showcase their talents. We are pleased to invite everyone to view physical artworks to enjoy the full experience.

About 12th UOB Painting of the Year
The UOB Painting of the Year competition was inaugurated in 1982 and commemorated its 40 years in Singapore and 12 years in Thailand in 2021. The annual art competition is the longest-running in Singapore and one of the most recognised in Southeast Asia.
Held in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, the competition aims to uncover the next generation of great Southeast Asian artists, and contribute to greater awareness and appreciation of art.
