Andy Warhol: Pop Art

Andy Warhol, an American artist, was a leading figure of Pop art movement of the 1960s. His works have been seen in various art forms including performing art, filmmaking, video installation and editorials. Warhol was an important artist who blurred the lines between fine art and mainstream culture.

Majority would think that a chance to witness Andy Warhol’s real work is difficult to be possible, especially during the period of pandemic that obstructs us from travelling abroad. However, with the cooperation with U.S. Embassy Bangkok as well as our valued partners and media, the wish to see original works of this world-class artist is no longer impossible. Hundreds of original works by Warhol were displayed in Andy Warhol Pop Art hosted at our RCB Galleria on the 2nd floor from 12 August to 24 November 2020. This most anticipated art event of 2021 attracted around 20,000 visitors nationwide including art lovers regardless of ages.
