Unlock

Being “imprisoned” or physically confined deprives of our sense of freedom and happiness. Sometimes, it is not only a place that limits us but our thoughts, our fears. Unlock is not about the photographer or being an artist per se, but about an element of life that all of us can find art. In this exhibition the photographer, Phichai Keawvichit, nickname “Eak”, will lead you into his journey of self-discovery.

Eak is an art enthusiast and photographer who had imprisoned his artistic urges and creativity for two decades before unlocking them with his camera. His photography is a celebration of the minimalist movement. The 26 photographs in the exhibition reveal his journey in four distinct chapters of his life. Through this, Eak hopes to challenge the visitor to unlock whatever might be holding you back and widen your perspective in the hope that you discover artist hidden within.

Discover the beauty of this distinct perspective at RCB Photographers’ Gallery from 8 December 2020 – 30 April 2021. Free admission.

Since your safety is our prior concern, River City Bangkok is open as usual with strict preventive measures against the Covid-19 and limitation of visitors inside all exhibitions.
Open Daily From 11 a.m. To 8 p.m.
The preventive measure limits only 30 visitors in Unlock exhibition.
