A Long Way
An exhibition that narrates the incredibly extensive journeys of four seasoned artists: Gumsak Atipiboonsin, Opas Chotiphantawanon, Suttipan Suttichai, and Thanachai Ujjin, each with their profound artistic experiences.
“A Long Way”, presented by Suttipan Suttichai, the curator and one of the featured artists in this exhibition. He intricately compares the artists’ lives, which have weathered through the heat and the chill, with their journey across the four seasons. Some seasons bloom with joy and vibrancy, while others gaze into melancholy. Some seasons are laden with contemplation, and some overflow with feelings too intricate to explain. These four artists encapsulate these life seasons through their soulful artistry, defining it as ‘Art of Essence’.
Beyond portraying life experiences and emotions onto canvas through their unique brushstrokes and emphasis on distinctive color structures, these four artists have ventured into numerous fresh approaches. For instance, experimenting with paint on sculpture, a novel form of work akin to embarking on a new road filled with challenges.
Thus, the four artists fervently hope that this exhibition will grant the audience a taste of their artworks and allow them to truly experience the journey through the seasons of life they’ve meticulously presented in their pieces, brimming with richness and depth.
