Down the Rabbit Hole
From one of the world’s most beloved classic novels comes a stunning art exhibition, bringing together the talents of 12 artists from 5 different countries.
“Down the Rabbit Hole” is the title of the first chapter of Lewis Caroll’s timeless classic, “Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland”, published in 1864. This beloved tale opens the door to a world of boundless imagination, seen through the curious eyes of ‘Alice’, who inadvertently tumbles into a rabbit hole, embarking on a lie-altering adventure. In this chapter, the origins of Alice’s extraordinary journey unfold, as an ordinary girl finds herself in a realm of wonder and magic. Inspired by the whimsical and unexpected turns in Alice’s life, this exhibition beautifully adapts these elements into its concept and title, inviting you to explore the unforeseen twists of fate.
The wondrous tale of Wonderland will be brought to life through the artistry of 12 talented artists from 5 countries (Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Thailand). These artists—ABAO, ANO., Bakumbaa, Faozee, Fartboil, Hifly, Knoa C., LESDOUBLEWOOD, Noinah, Shinichiro Kitai, Yang OvO, and Zito Hsu—draw parallels between ‘falling down the rabbit hole’ and pivotal moments in their own lives. Through their unique perspectives and imaginations, they explore themes of growth, confronting fears, and encountering the unfamiliar. Each artist weaves their distinctive characters and personal stories with their narratives and characters, resulting in a collection of truly special works of art.
Tumble into the rabbit hole and reflect on the turning points in your lives with us. Perhaps, these pivotal moments might just be the beginnings of beautiful stories beyond your wildest imagination.
