Pet-Carrier-Friendly Visiting Policies & Regulations

Exhibition: “Beyond the Rainbow”

To maintain safety standards, cleanliness, and a welcoming environment for all art enthusiasts at the exhibition “Beyond the Rainbow”, pet owners are requested to strictly review and adhere to the following regulations:

1. Stroller & Carrier Specifications

  • Must Remain Inside at All Times: Only dogs and cats are permitted. Pets must remain completely inside a pet stroller or a securely closed pet carrier/bag at all times while inside the exhibition and River City Bangkok.
  • Carrier Requirements: Strollers, bags, or carriers must be fully equipped with zippers or secure latches. Open-top pet backpacks, open shoulder slings, or fashion tote bags that cannot be completely closed are strictly prohibited.
  • Strictly No Release or Carrying: Taking pets out of their strollers or carriers is strictly prohibited. Walking pets on a leash, carrying them in arms, holding them for photos, or placing them on the gallery floor is not allowed under any circumstances (except within explicitly designated pet photo spots).
  • Size & Allowance Restriction: Pet strollers or carriers must not exceed 100 cm in length, with a strict limit of 1 stroller/carrier per visitor. They must not obstruct walkways or emergency exits. If a pet is too large to fit within a 100 cm stroller/carrier, entry cannot be permitted.
  • Stroller Rental Services: The exhibition does not provide pet stroller rental or loan services. Owners are required to bring their own.
  • Staff Discretionary Rights: Event organizers reserve the right to deny entry if on-site staff deem a pet carrier/stroller unsafe or if it exceeds the specified dimensions.

2. Designated Zones & Traffic Control

  • Permitted Areas: Pets inside approved strollers or carriers are allowed only within the official exhibition galleries at RCB Galleria 1 & 2 (2nd Floor) and must travel via elevators only. Pets are strictly confined to the 1st and 2nd floors and are prohibited from accessing other building levels.
  • Restricted Areas: Pets are strictly prohibited from entering regular retail shops, dining venues (unless explicitly designated as a Pet-Friendly establishment), and public restrooms.
  • Designated Entry & Exit: Visitors accompanied by pets must enter and exit the building through the 1st-floor Drop-off point only.

3. Hygiene, Sanitation & Waste Management

  • Pet Diaper Guidelines: Wearing pet diapers at all times is highly recommended to prevent accidental spoiling of venue flooring, walls, or exhibition assets.
  • Owner’s Preparedness: Pet owners must bring their own personal sanitation supplies, such as wet wipes, sanitizing sprays, rubbing alcohol, and waste disposal bags.
  • Accident Cleanup Protocol: In the event of a pet fouling accident, the owner is solely responsible for immediately cleaning the area and notifying gallery staff.
  • Pet Relief & Waste Stations: Dedicated waste bins for pet diapers/waste, as well as a designated pet relief area, are provided at the 2nd-floor parking exit near RCB Galleria 2.

4. Behavior, Noise & Health Supervision

  • Prohibited Pet Types: Aggressive animals, wild animals, and exotic pets are strictly prohibited.
  • Vaccinations & Health Status: Pets should be fully up-to-date on core vaccinations and must not exhibit any signs of illness or contagious diseases.
  • Constant Supervision: Owners must maintain close, constant supervision over their pets. Pets must never be left unattended under any circumstances.
  • Noise & Distress Control: If a pet becomes anxious, barks excessively, or makes disruptive noises, the owner must immediately escort the pet outside the gallery until it calms down.
  • Aggressive Behavior: If a pet exhibits aggressive behavior or attempts to harm others, organizers reserve the right to immediately evict the owner and pet from the premises.

5. Liability & Important Disclaimers

Child Policy: Children under 7 enter for free but must be accompanied by at least one ticket-holding adult.

Liability for Artwork & Property: The pet owner accepts full and sole legal liability for any physical damage caused by their pet to exhibited artworks, display structures, gallery walls, or venue property, and must compensate based on actual restoration values.

Liability for Third Parties: If a pet causes injury or property damage to another visitor, the pet owner is solely responsible for all medical expenses and financial compensation.

Admissions & Refund Policy: Staff reserve the right to refuse entry or ask visitors to leave if rules are violated. No refunds or compensation will be issued.
