This exhibition will take you on a journey to explorethe universe of her life which is full of adventurous stories, imagination, vibrant colours, and fresh and boundless creativity.
Story of My Mind is an exhibition presenting a story of a girl in a red cloak who ventures into Tarot’s Major Arcana Cards which are the first 22 cards in most tarot decks. Her journey begins with The Fool or card number 0 and ends with The World or card number 21. On this journey, she encounters a wide variety of challenges that will make the viewers root for her from beginning to end.
What’s so special about the exhibition is a perfect blend of a story in each tarot card and the paintings in which the viewers will see from renowned tarot cards including The Sun, The Moon and The Star being reinterpreted onto huge canvases.
Additionally, this exhibition can be perceived as a large diary that the artist uses to express her inner feelings including happiness, sorrow, disappointment and satisfaction through a character of a young girl in a red cloak, a depiction of the artist herself. Inspired by tarot cards, the names of each painting are a reflection of her past, present and future and everyone is invited to contemplate the meaning of each painting to get to know more about the artist’s personality.
How does the adventure of a girl in a red cloak end? How is each tarot card related to the artist? Let’s find the answer as well as enjoy the adventure at Story of My Mind.
