Tempered into Myriad Visions: One with Infinity

Travel doesn’t just change where we are—it quietly reshapes the way we see the world, leaving its mark on who we become.

River City Bangkok, in collaboration with Xiamen Autumn Mosaic Art Center, proudly presents “Tempered into Myriad Visions: One with Infinity,” the first international solo exhibition by Chinese contemporary artist CJ Zhang. Featuring an entirely new body of work created during his time living in Thailand, the exhibition captures how a new place, new experiences, and cultural encounters can transform an artist’s creative vision.

Rather than portraying Thailand through familiar icons or postcard imagery, CJ Zhang draws from his everyday life in Bangkok. Through its people, streets, architecture, and cultural rhythms, each work reflects the artist’s personal journey, where lived experiences and inner emotions converge to create boundless new perspectives.

More than a milestone in CJ Zhang’s artistic career, this exhibition also celebrates the ongoing cultural dialogue between China and Thailand. Through his work, visitors are invited to discover not only the city and its people, but perhaps a new perspective within themselves as well.

“Tempered into Myriad Visions: One with Infinity” is on view with free admission from 4–19 July 2026 at RCB Artery, 1st Floor, River City Bangkok.
