When Snowflakes Fall
It might be impossible to see snow in Thailand, but it is not far beyond our imagination.
The festive season is for holding family and friends close. We exchange gifts and remind ourselves how lucky we are to be able to love and be loved.
Winter is also a period of hibernation on either side of the tropics. Everything appears to be frozen in time. We retreat into the cozy indoors, and contemplate the next chapter of our lives.
Though snow is a wonderful gift from the sky that people of all ages enjoy, its glittering beauty masks the hidden dangers underneath. But even the worst snowstorm won’t deal as much damage as the avalanche of anguish that follows rejection, likely to bury us in heartbreak.
The multidimensionality of snow fills RCB Photographers’ Gallery 2, the setting of a group exhibition, “When Snowflakes Fall”, featuring works by four artists – Zito Hsu, FAHFAHS, Art Jeeno, and Riety – who will present impressions and interpretations of winter that will warm your heart this season.
