Established in 1958, the late, Mr. Santi Sivakua, successfully operated his small antiques gallery called Santi’s Antiques. He received a good recognition from local and international collectors and acclaimed as one of the premier expert in Chinese porcelain and Southeast Asian artifacts then. He served as an expert consultant on Chinese antiquities, as well as Buddhist artifacts for several reference publications. There are two generation working on the gallery.
In 1990 his son, Mr. Suk Sivakua, renamed the gallery “Friday” and moved to Thailand’s biggest antique center, “River City Bangkok” whereby the gallery has further expanded the business. In 1993, he and his siblings set up “Angkor Antiques”.
Today, Friday & Angkor Antiques offer a unique fine arts for collection. We are an expert on Khmer and Chinese work of arts. Suk Sivakua is the third generation of family engaging in antiques business since 1920’s. His expertise is in Cambodian artifacts and Chinese porcelain. Graduated with Political sciences degree, Suk is fascinated with Cambodian antiquities likewise his father.
