Artist Statement

It just happened, and yet nobody can expect it will happen. Now there are changes, a big transformation, a great awakening is coming through into our world. It is turbulent like a waterfall that cannot be silent. As above, so below.  We are rebuilding lives so that we can see how important and valuable our life really is and right now. Today, it is time to reflect on bringing hope into our conversations. I see my art has a role now as the art ambassador for hope and peace for my motherland; viz Ukraine.

It is so important that love and peace can find its way through to our hearts and to reach our human hearts. It is my dream to merge art with sound and lights and this you will be able to see and feel in this collection. I am a native born in Kiev the spiritual land of Ukraine and for me its personally painful to see the suffering of my country and her people. There is a deep shock and trauma at this violent attack and now I feel my mission from deep inside my soul is to rebuild people’s lives and to re-open their hearts to love and share the light for our world through our creations, through forgotten language, the sounds, the music, the golden thread that connects our people as one, we are one saviour for one and another, the guardians of our nation. This nation is a spirit filled with fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters who protect and continue our lives in the best possible way we can.

A place where we can all live in harmony, where our world can be free of judgment, free of cruelty and live together through the glorious heart of our God. Where we can evolve and blossom into a language of love and golden hope. It is in the garden of love and innocence we will flow through this holy fire and rebuild our cities with greenery, sustainability that is an endless love for humanity and our home. It is my hope that we honor each other and honor life and the human values that we teach. Art, music, and movement are freedoms of expression to silently expose all these feelings and emotions that are creating a living hell inside all humans right now. I invite you to observe my artwork and see how you feel and connect together for the honor of our right to have a future. Let us remember we are the guardians of mother earth, and my country is a mother land with golden fields that feed and nourish many nations. Hope and peace to all.

About the artist

Viktoria Vorotina or VV is a transformational and revelatory artist who was born in Kiev Ukraine who transformed her creative visualization from a catwalk model to “Revelatrice artiste” on canvas. Her use of acrylic oils, charcoal, gold leaf and crystals on large canvases has become her trademark together with the uniquely custom designed VV frames which is her brand. After her early modeling years, once chosen by Milla Jovovich, she was able to exhibit her large canvases at fashion shows and live events. Soon in Poland, she was working for interior designers and private collectors for luxury homes, upscale boutiques, and venues. She became known to her clientele studying their maps and creating their personalized bespoke art. She achieved her dream of creating a baroque bamboo alfresco art studio at her tropical home in Thailand and found homes for her art collections in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan. VV is now collaborating with reputable galleries in St. Tropez and presenting for a solo exhibition at River City Bangkok. Her themes are about self-realization in creation, soul mates, soul journeys and open doorways to liberation. She started with a law degree, but soon she was selected to be an apprentice to principal eastern European artists.
