Look back on the past 50 years of humanity

365º, by Spanish fashion photographer Eugenio Recuenco, commissioned by Vogue, GQ and Vanity Fair to name but a few, as well as prestigious brands such as Yves Saint and Loewe, will astound you. Each of 365 photographs, stylised by a team of more than 300 set designers, lighting crew, prop makers and models over eight years presents portentous moments of our recent past. Each photograph is backlit in its own light-box. You will be mesmerised.

365º examines the influences of art, current affairs, politics, disasters, invention and discoveries on mankind. Revisit the 9/11 (September 2001) attack on New York’s World Trade Centre and the UFO sighting in Roswell, New Mexico that sparked endless conspiracy theories in 1947. Lovers of science fiction will love the homage to the George Lucas blockbuster that became a worldwide phenomenon, Star Wars. For those born before 1980, the exhibition will bring back memories of a childhood spent playing Tetris, the game developed by a Russian scientist, Alexey Pajitnov and was released in 1984.

Artworks played within 365 include Edward Hopper’s Morning Sun (1952), Salvadore DalÍ’s Young Woman at a Window (1925), and a masterpiece from Dutch artist, Piet Mondrian, who led the development of modern abstract art. Also, British graffiti artist, Banksy’s Umbrella Girl (2008), a work that criticises society. All artworks of the world’s most loved artists are not real works, but rather recreations of Eugenio Recuenco.
